Vision & Values

At Home and Hospital we believe in the development of the whole child by supporting our students to be the best that they can be.

Together we work with stakeholders to create a learning environment which is purposeful, challenging, creative and meaningful.

We link all of our work to successful progression to next steps: be that post 16 progression or progression to other providers.

We achieve this through teaching, modelling and sharing how to be healthy, safe and show resilience, be resourceful and empathic.

We aim to:

  • Make good progress in learning
  • Prepare and support students’ for further education, training, employment or other appropriate pathways
  • Develop students’ personal integrity, self-esteem and citizenship
  • Identify and change aspects of behaviour that are contributory to difficulties experienced in school

We believe in what we do and encourage students to have self-belief, high expectations of themselves and others and ultimately to make positive contributions to their families, colleges, employers and the society we live in.
